California Black Health Network is reaching out to African Americans and all other ethnic groups, Hispanics, Native Americans, Asians, and Caucasians to join our Colors of Commitment Building Healthy Communities Initiative. The symbol of this initiative is this colorful wristband representing each of these ethnic groups. The initiative is a call to action for us to all work together toward the building of healthy communities statewide and nationally. We are collecting your stories. Please tell us what you are doing to improve your health, the health of your family, or to improve the health of your community. We will review your submissions and select the 3 top stories to film and present at the CBHN 2013 Annual Conference. Winners will receive free travel and attendance at the conference. The First Prize winner will also get to spend time with our CBHN Mystery Celebrity Spokesperson! We will reveal the celebrity’s name later in the year.
