SPWC is committed to address and prevent mental and behavioral health care gap for our underserved population regardless of their back ground including; race/ ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, social status for school ages kids and their families. Our purpose is to establish a secure and supportive environment, enabling students and families to connect to one another without judgement, empower and advocate for their needs, thus promoting mental health recovery and self-wellness.

Sia's Place is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization committed to revolutionizing mental health and wellness for youth through a proactive and innovative approach. Our three core services includes Doula Services; Birth, postpartum and free educational classes; prenatal care, birth/labor, postpartum, lactation, wellness and self care, mommy real talk support group. We specialize in Teen moms, young adults/ families, and first time moms. Other Services include adaptive dance classes for young kids and youth leadership training which include soft skills vocational training.

Experience

We have a team of Doulas that speaks English, Spanish and Hmong. We are all trained through Dona International. Though this non profit is fairly new, we have have over 20 years of experience either working the the dept. of social services, over 10 years for working as liaisons in the public school system, 13 years working in the mental and behavior health realm, and 10 years as a community advocate and health navigator.
